Smog Repair Assistance

Smog Free Clark County (SFCC) is a local nonprofit program created with Clark County residents in mind because cleaner air should never come at the expense of the people who live here. In response to changes in Nevada state law that increased emissions requirements for classic vehicles, classic rods, and old-timer license plates, SFCC was established to help vehicle owners navigate these changes without undue financial burden.

The program offers financial assistance for emissions-related vehicle repairs, ensuring residents can keep their vehicles on the road while meeting smog check standards. Owners of model year 1968-2006 vehicles, including those with classic rod plates, may be eligible to receive up to $975 in repair assistance.

By supporting residents through these upgrades, SFCC helps protect public health, improve local air quality, and ensure that Clark County remains a healthy, livable community for everyone, now and for generations to come.

Here’s what real people think about the program

Las Vegas, NV

The application process was fast and super easy; almost as easy as setting up a Facebook profile. Right the next day, I received an answer with approval and the list of certified mechanics. I called a couple of places for the fastest appointment and was able to get one that same day. After about 3-4 hours, my van was fixed and ready to go back on the road again.

“100% would recommend this program. The customer service from start to finish was great.”
